Latvian Birch Plywood
Our Latvian Birch Plywood range; known internationally for its’ exceptional strength and machinability; is imported from a selection of mills across the three Baltic countries of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The largest mills, however, reside in the vast forests near the city of Riga.
Our range of Latvian Birch Plywoods are FSC® and PEFC certified, and come with a E1 Formaldehyde rating. NOTE: Uncoated Birch plywood should only be used for exterior purposes when all faces & edges have been fully protected against the elements and moisture ingress.

BB Grade
Ideal for internal paint finish. Knots or holes over 6mm are replaced with oval plugs (Max. 20 plugs per sheet). Sound knots allowed.
WG Grade
Used where appearance is not important. Sound knots up to 65mm allowed. Splits; rough patches; staining; defects and glue perlocution allowed.
C Grade
Similar to WG Grade; but has a more rougher, non-sanded face and a higher instance of open defects; splits; knots and discolouration.
