Polish Pine has a broader, more expressive grain pattern than Douglas Fir. This gives it a much warmer, natural appearance with real visual character. The face is also more knotted than Birch, and ideal if you desire a rustic finish. The panel additionally benefits from an attractive, well-constructed edge with minimal void gaps.
